Children & Young People
We meet with children and young people at our service in Nuneaton offering a safe space to talk to a counsellor either on a one to one basis or in our play therapy room where there are lots of different activities which can be used during the session to help work through any problems or worries that you might have.
These problems might include:
- Relationship issues
- Abuse
- Bereavement or loss of any kind
- Illness
- Lack of confidence
- Bullying
These are just some of the problems that we help people with but whatever your problem is we will try to help. Just give us a call.
Therapeutic Play
For primary age children and young people its often easier to find ways of expressing feelings and coming to terms with situations in creative ways. Our play therapy room helps children to engage in therapy in a way that allows freedom of choice within safe boundaries. By providing a free atmosphere within safe boundaries the therapist allows the child complete freedom to express himself/herself verbally, physically or with play things. The use of unstructured materials such as sand and water, paint, glue, clay etc. as well as miniature figures of people, animals, trees, etc. is important to allow the imagination free rein. The child can begin to make sense of experiences and gain some control.Over time their ability and self confidence to cope with their experiences in a safe and constructive way increases.

Schools Work
We presently offer:
