    Volunteering for Sycamore Counselling<\/h1>\n

    Have you ever considered volunteering? Here is some information for you that you may find helpful:<\/p>\n

    • Here at Sycamore the majority of the staff are volunteers<\/li>\n
    • We can offer you opportunities in administration or fundraising<\/li>\n
    • We also offer counselling students placements when available<\/li>\n
    • We highly value all of our volunteers who give their time to help the agency run smoothly<\/li>\n
    • Volunteering can be for a variable amount of hours. Everyone who applies is subject to an enhanced DBS check and will need to provide two references.<\/li>\n
    • Our agency is open Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm and some evenings until 9pm<\/li>\n
    • Many of our office staff have come to volunteer for us to refresh their skills after being away from work for varying reasons and have then gone on to secure paid employment<\/li>\n
    • Some volunteers reasons for joining are that they want to feel part of a team that is working with the community<\/li>\n
